Krystal Marie LaVelle

In the early morning hours of August 24, 2022, Krystal Marie LaVelle, a

beautiful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and dearest friend

was surrounded by many loved ones when called to her heavenly home

suddenly at the age of 51 years. Krystal was born on August 19, 1971, to

Phyllis Jean Boner and Duane Lynn LaVelle in Streator, Illinois.

Krystal will be deeply missed, always loved, and forever remembered by her

friends and family. She was the strongest, kindest soul and the light in all

darkness. She is survived by her mother Phyllis LaVelle. Her brothers; Berkley

Lavelle, his wife Marilyn LaVelle, and Paul LaVelle. Her children; Nicole

Mousome, her husband Dennis Mousome, Shawn LaVelle, and Zachary

LaVelle. Also, her ten grandchildren who were her absolute world: Kiersten

Law, Jaxon LaVelle, Chase Law, Aubrey LaVelle, Noah LaVelle, Delilah

LaVelle, Liam LaVelle, Camila LaVelle, Bentley Mousome, Ariana LaVelle.

She fought a battle with breast cancer and survived it 19 years. However,

unfortunately a short unforgiving battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was preceded in death by her father; Duane LaVelle.

A celebration of life will be held in Crossroads, TX on September 10, 2022.

Also, one will be held in Illinois for all our family and friends there at a later

date, yet to be determined.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s

sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow death, I will fear no

evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my

head with oil; my cup overflows. 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall

dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
