In Loving Memory Robert Wilmot Mann May 4th, 1935 – May 3rd, 2022

Robert Wilmot Mann (Bob) , 86 years old, passed away on May 3rd, 2022, hours away from his 87th birthday, in Riverton, Utah. Bob was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 4th, 1935. He is survived by Sister Kaye Milete: children Teresa (Jefre)Johnson-Parker, Mike Mann, Terry Mann, Patty (Roger) Midgley, Manu Mann (and his siblings, Gina, Moti, and Bina), & Ken Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmot Milton Mann, & Marjorie Hart Brown; siblings Myrna, Geraldine, Louise, and James; and sons Stephen and Kenneth.

He served honorably in the US Navy. He traveled the world as a pilot, flying military dignitaries in his C83 cargo plane all over Asia. One special trip included flying over Mount Everest.

Dad had a strong work ethic, achieving many notable accomplishments. He was instrumental in the development of one of the first computers (Univac 1108), and owned and operated a successful electronic cash register business in Midvale, Utah.

Dad loved to fish & explore the outdoors, and he enjoyed time spent with his little dog Molly, his constant companion. He especially had a passion for the open road!

In keeping with Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral. However, the military will be providing an internment service at a later date.
